A browser extension to help capture signals and trends to a collaborative whiteboard.

How to use this tool

To use Trend Harvester, you must first install the browser extension.

Once the browser extension is installed, you must then authenticate to your collaborative workspace. Trend Harvester currently only supports Mural.co whiteboards.

Then, once you have configured Trend Harvester, it is as easy as clicking on the browser extension, confirming that you are happy with the autogenerated summary and then sending the page to your area in the collaborative whiteboard.

Step-by-step guide

To install Trend Harvester, follow these steps:

Install the browser extension by following the links above
Click the browser extension icon to start the authentication process
Login to Mural and authorise Trend Harvester to access your Murals
Click the "Authenticate to Mural" button. You may need to click again on the Trend Harvester browser extension icon
From the series of drop down lists, select the correct Workspace, Mural and Area.
Once you have configured the browser extension correctly it will let you know you can close it by clicking away from its window

To use Trend Harvester:

Browse to a page that you want to save to the collaborative workspace
Click the Trend Harvester icon
A summary will be auto-generated. Modify the summary if you want.
Click "Send it" to send the trend to you area on the collaborative whiteboard.
